Brooklyln, United States - July 1, 2020 /PressCable/ —

Car crashes are already common scenes on the streets of NYC, day or night. The population density in this metropolis is such that vehicles tend to clog major thoroughfares and even the less traveled side streets. So many vehicles are on city streets at any given time, and the variety of vehicles is as mind-boggling as the traffic that occurs during rush hours. A lot of New Yorkers have traded in their vehicles for bikes, or even go to alternative lifestyle options like living near their places of work. Many have accepted all of these concerns as part of metropolitan living and native culture. The thing with this city is its undefeated spirit and the confidence of its population.

Even so, car or motorcycle accidents are no joke to those who have it happen to them. People still believe in their luck here, or are more fatalistic, accepting anything that can come their way. The risks and hazards of driving are simply something that you gamble with to enjoy life in NYC. This is not a bad life at all, generally speaking, but it can turn tragic during instances when luck runs short for anyone.

Events or things that can be done after the fact are many. Attorney firms like Silberstein Awad and Miklos offer good options in this sense and can be a bit more rewarding than other means. Besides which, the legal option is considered straightforward and acceptable. Legal counsel, court representation, out of court settlements, arbitration and others are options SAM lawyers can provide clients in need. Accidents being what they are, the cases against those liable in car or motorcycle accidents are not criminal in nature. Except for extreme cases, the cases here are civil and the penalties are often monetary.

Aggressive representation with compassion for the aggrieved or injured parties is something that gets the job done when they get in touch with firms like SAM. There is focus on tailor fitting legal action to each case and personalities involved. This can mean the difference between success and failure in court. The reputation of the firm under discussion is one that has been earned through many successfully litigated cases. These, in turn, have given the firm excellent client reviews, peer group awards and appreciation from consumer protection bureaus.

SAM has the free consultation hotline 1-877-ASK4SAM for those in urgent need of legal help. The consultation can lead to a service contract, and the firm only bills any client with standard flat fees. There are no add ons involved. Expert and free consultation from relevant attorneys is a given when help from SAM is accessed.

SAM locations are strategically placed throughout NYC boroughs and independent counties. Access to attorneys is limited but the firm tries to average out on the field. There are simply too many cases to handle, but SAM is proud of the fact that it often takes on cases other firms avoid. Their website is filled with informative details that can help clients move forward in any legal matter and this can be done on the following link: https://ask4sam.net/contact/

Globes carpet kicks off with big sleeves and shades of pink

Jul 14, 2020

NEW YORK — Cynthia Erivo and Greta Gerwig rocked sparkling chokers as the Golden Globes red carpet kicked off Sunday, with Erivo in a hand-beaded custom Thom Browne gown and Gerwig in black and cream. Both went off-shoulder for the big night in Beverly Hills, California. Erivo, the “Harriet” star and fashion standout, said her dress includes designs of her favorite flower, the peony, at the hem and in her lining. The short-sleeve gown, Erivo told E!, took 800 hours. A huge blue stone dropped from her short necklace. Shades of pink had an early trend moment on Kirsten Dunst...

Solidarity march against anti-Semitism, acts of hate

Jul 14, 2020

NEW YORK — Throngs of demonstrators joined by elected officials walked solemnly across the Brooklyn Bridge in a solidarity march Sunday against anti-Semitism and all acts of hate. The “No Hate, No Fear" march was organized by New York's Jewish community in the wake of recent anti-Semitic attacks, including a knife attack at a Hanukkah celebration north of New York City that left five people wounded and a fatal shootout at a kosher grocery in Jersey City, New Jersey. The crowds of participants jammed the streets in lower Manhattan as they waited their turns to get across the bridge. “It...

Streep, Miranda and Stone are named as Met Gala co-0chairs

Jul 14, 2020

NEW YORK — Next year's Met Gala may be the closest we'll ever come to getting a Miranda Priestly moment at the starry event. Meryl Streep has been named as a co-chair of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. The Oscar-winner played Priestly, a thinly veiled fictional version of Vogue editor Anna Wintour, in the movie "The Devil Wears Prada." Wintour clearly has no hard feelings because she selected Streep as a co-chair along with Lin-Manuel Miranda and fellow Oscar-winner Emma Stone. Designer Nicolas Ghesquiere rounds out the group. The gala's theme is "About Time: Fashion and Duration," which...

Congress approves bill expanding animal cruelty law

Jul 14, 2020

WASHINGTON — Congress has passed a bill making certain types of animal cruelty a federal felony. The bill would expand a 2010 law that made creation or distribution of so-called "animal crushing" videos illegal. The new bill would make the underlying acts of cruelty a federal crime. The Senate unanimously passed the Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act on Tuesday, two weeks after the House passed it on a voice vote. Florida Reps. Ted Deutch and Vern Buchanan sponsored the bill. Deutch, a Democrat, said it "sends a clear message that our society does not accept cruelty against animals" and...

Olivia Newton-John's final 'Grease' ensemble fetches $405K

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Two collectors said you're the one that I want to Olivia Newton-John's iconic "Grease" leather jacket and skintight pants at an auction Saturday in Beverly Hills. Julien's Auctions says the combined ensemble, which Newton-John's character Sandy wears in the closing number of the 1978 film, fetched $405,700 total. The leather jacket sold for $243,200 and the pants, which Newton-John famously had to be sewn into, went for $162,500. Other "Grease" memorabilia included a Pink Ladies jacket that went for $50,000 and a poster signed by Newton-John, John Travolta, director Randal Kleiser and producer and songwriter John...
