Attractables, the revolutionary new purse jewelry that ensures keys never end up at the bottom of the bag, is live on global crowdfunding platform Kickstarter and raising funds to bring the project to life.
It happens every time without fail. Keys tossed in the purse, and when needed again- a fishing expedition ensues. Having keys accessible is not only a time-saving convenience, but can also be a life safer when keys are needed in dark parking lots at night. Attractables solves the universal problem of keys diving to the bottom of a purse while providing an attractive one-of-a-kind jewelry to decorate the purse.
“Attractables all started with a solution to solve the issue of the keys lost in the bottom of a woman’s purse. This was an idea based on a customer’s question when I worked in a boutique to fund my desire for the jewelry they sold,” says founder and creator Kathy Miller on the inspiration behind the project. “This customer mentioned a hook system for keys. I had heard of this idea but felt this concept could be made better. After brainstorming with my husband we came up with a magnetic solution and developed this into a product.”
Attractables are attractive purse jewelry held together with two magnets; the outside magnet displaying the jewelry, and a second magnet on the inside of the purse. The magnet inside the purse attracts the metal key ring, holding a set of keys securely in place for the next time they’re needed.
Attractables come in an array of beautiful adornments including a rose, flower, leaf design and even a small picture frame— all in a variety of different colors and metals. Smartphones are also not affected by the magnet used in Attractables. Unlike a compass, smartphones utilize GPS for directional information and is not impacted by magnetic fields.
“Attractables are a very flexible solution, provide interchangeability and over the other solutions out there allow a woman to fully zip/buckle their purse,” adds Miller. “Other solutions utilize a hook and do not allow the purse to be fully closed. Attractables are truly a superior solution!”
