Denise Royal, who is active in her local church, has completed her new book, "More Than > Just Surviving": a hope-filled read of faith reflecting on her own life.
Royal shares, "In a world where social media presents the illusion of lives perfectly lived, readers need the opportunity to hear from authors who dare to be honest and vulnerable, sharing the reality of life's difficulties. Her prayer is that readers' eyes would be opened to how God works in their lives even in the midst of pain and struggle and that their hearts would be warmed and inspired to seek God. It is also her hope and prayer that this true account would point readers to a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ."
Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Denise Royal's new book shares her own story of the darkness she faced in her life and how her faith helped see her through in order to provide encouragement to those who may feel slighted by God, that they may stay true to their faith.
Readers can purchase "More Than > Just Surviving" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon or Barnes and Noble.

A vacation begins long before a suitcase is packed. It begins in an ordinary moment: a tiring afternoon, a conversation with a friend, a photograph of somewhere unfamiliar. Suddenly, the mind moves beyond its immediate surroundings. We imagine waking without an alarm, sharing an unhurried meal or standing somewhere that makes our everyday concerns feel smaller. Planning a vacation gives that imagined life a date, a destination and the possibility of becoming real.
