This weekend saw the release of the motion picture Logan, with Hugh Jackman reprising his role as the X-Men's Wolverine for the final time. In the film, Jackman plays two roles: the old-Logan, a now 50-something-year-old superhero; and X-24, a genetically engineered 28-year-old version of the Wolverine. One cannot help but notice the great shape the near 50-year-old actor is in as he plays the dual roles. The credit, apparently, goes to Dieter Roylance, Jackman's personal trainer.
Roylance, Chief Exercise Physiologist and developer of Meister Blueprint, has created personalised 12-week Blueprints for executives, entrepreneurs, actors, performers and other people needing to maximise vitality and performance. "This integrated 4 Pillar program is not just for the rich and famous, but anyone looking to fight fatigue, increase energy and vitality," says Roylance.
When individuals feel tired during the day, the natural impulse is to take a nap. Industry specialists, however, suggest exercise as the better alternative for fighting fatigue. Another issue according to Bill Lang, Director of Meister Blueprint, is that exercise, training and nutrition programs often fall short of providing the help individuals need to regain their energy. "The reason for this is that each of us is unique, with individual lifestyle and injury histories, different lifestyle and performance demands at present and with a limited amount of time and willpower. We all also have differing goals to achieve the level of vitality, strength and future performance levels that we each want," says Lang.
With this in mind, Meister Blueprint has made available to the general public the training, diet, sleep and recovery strategies used by the likes of Hugh Jackman and Robbie Williams. This service is aimed at people who need a program designed around their past, present and future, taking into account their exercise, dietary and injury histories and goals.
Lang confirms, "This is where our Meister Blueprint comes in. It is a 100% tailored strategy for anyone to achieve their goals, starting with an initial assessment where your body composition, injury history, nutrition and existing exercise, sleep and lifestyle habits are assessed. The Meister Blueprint service is a world first. Until now, it has only been available to the world's highest achievers in sports, mountaineering, entertainment and the corporate world through face-to-face coaching and training. Now, a highly personalised approach as used by Hugh Jackman is available globally."
New research indicates regular exercise of the right type for an individual can increase energy levels, even among those suffering from chronic problems such as fatigue, diabetes or heart disease. "We provide a a process, plan and coaching for those looking to build a Wolverine, or to simply stop feeling tired all of the time," says Lang.
