Get to know Chiropractor Dr. Cory Ann Imhof, who serves patients in Corvallis, Oregon.
New York City, Mar 9, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Chiropractor Dr. Imhof fervently believes in the importance of bringing her life-changing chiropractic experience to as many individuals and families as she can. She is passionate about diet, nutrition, and the impact lifestyle change can have on a person's quality of life and overall happiness and wellness.
At present, she is a part of the team at Heresco Chiropractic & Associates in Corvallis, Oregon. She provides comprehensive family and emergency chiropractic care for headaches, neck pain, back pain, on the job injuries, and motor vehicle accidents.
"Heresco Chiropractic & Associates is proud to help our patients live better lives without pain. We truly believe that nobody deserves to live in pain, and we will do everything we can to ensure that our patients are comfortable. Unlike conventional medicine, which focuses on attempting to treat disease once it occurs, Heresco Chiropractic emphasizes improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain and illness. We are proud to be a part of our patient's health care team" as stated on their website.
On the subject of her educational background, Dr. Imhof moved to Oregon from New York to attend George Fox University, although she was originally headed to Veterinary School at OSU. While interning at a vet clinic in Wilsonville, she met a chiropractor who changed her life. After graduating from George Fox University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Animal Biology, she switched courses. In December of 2009, she earned her both BS degree in Human Biology and her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from the University of Western States.
The doctor's personal and professional model, which she takes from DD Palmer (the founder of chiropractic), is "The Power of God that made the body has the power to heal the body."
Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor uses spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients' health concerns, including neck pain and back pain. They aim to improve patients' functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body's musculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself without the use of medication or surgery.
Maintaining a love for her profession, Dr. Imhof treats her two rescue-cats, along with her husband, at home to help keep them healthy and strong. Some of her other interests include urban farming, cooking, vegetable gardening, doing home DIY projects, and exploring Oregon.
Among her service and community organization involvements, she is a member of the Lions Club and Elks Lodge.
