TUSK has announced a new update to its popular conservative-focused search app, now available on Android.

Santa Barbara, United States - January 16, 2024 /PressCable/ —
The latest update continues the developer's focus on building an alternative to Google that prioritizes free speech and censorship-free web browsing - giving users more control over their search experience through pre-search filters and refusing to suppress content.

Following the recent announcement, the app is available for download through Google Play Store, as well as Apple’s iOS Store, and the search experience has also been integrated into the TUSK web browser. The TUSK team assures users that they won't find any liberal bias in search results, and there is no risk of pages being blocked or banned for political or social reasons.
Many conservative users believe mainstream search engines like Google elevate left-leaning views in search results. As reported by The New York Post, Google has faced criticism over allegations it manually intervenes in search results to favor liberal perspectives, but TUSK Search aims to counter this perceived bias with a neutral platform upholding free speech as a core value.
According to TUSK, this type of uncensored search experience is especially important in countries with strict internet censorship laws limiting access to information. By avoiding restrictive content moderation policies, the app enables the free flow of available data to users worldwide.
The TUSK Search app lets users tailor results by political leaning. Before finalizing a search, users can select either Left, Right, or Center to filter for the most relevant viewpoint-specific information on any topic - a level of customization designed to deliver more balanced perspectives from across the political spectrum.
Further enhancing the search functionality, TUSK also now incorporates Gippr AI into its search experience. Gippr serves as an alternative to ChatGPT, delivering responses catered to conservative opinions when users ask questions. By integrating this technology, TUSK Search says it can better meet expectations from its right-leaning user base.
A spokesperson states: “TUSK Search is a search engine created by a conservative organization for conservative users. It is designed to provide you with an alternative to the mainstream search engines that promote liberal bias and censorship of the right media. It focuses on providing you with transparency in the search results.”

In 1986, a strange coincidence occurred in Hollywood. Despite the industry having previously shown little interest in the subject, two major Chinese-themed fantasy films were released in the same year: John Carpenter’s Big Trouble in Little China and the Eddie Murphy vehicle The Golden Child. Ever the cynic, Carpenter refused to believe in serendipity. “How many adventure pictures dealing with Chinese mysticism have been released by the major studios in the past 20 years?” he asked Starlog...
