Freskos in Hamden has updated its opening hours. The Greek food restaurant is now open to 9pm on Thursdays and Fridays with beer & wine available. They also offer a home delivery service with GrubHub, UberEats & DoorDash.

The updated opening hours came into effect on May 13th and the restaurant is now open until 9pm on Thursdays and Fridays. The restaurant was previously open for diners 7am to 7pm on weeknights and 11am to 4pm on Saturdays. During these new opening hours, diners can avail of either indoor or outdoor dining and the restaurant is currently operating under Connecticut State guidelines for COVID-19.
The restaurant serves a large selection of healthy Greek food that is made using fresh ingredients. The menu includes starters, mains, sides, and desserts that are a healthier alternative to fast food. It includes a selection of classic Greek sandwiches, salads, pizza, seasonal soups, and mezethes. Vegan and dairy-free items are also available and side dishes include chips, kalamata olives, and imported feta.
During the new opening hours, diners can choose from some of the most popular items on the menu. These include a Greek hummus that is made using Greek yogurt, Avgolemono, a traditional Greek soup, and a Horiatiki Salad. The restaurant’s signature food offering is gyros, a type of Greek sandwich that is made with a ground lamb and beef combination. An extensive selection of beers and wines is also available.
As part of the update, interested parties can make a reservation via the company’s website, on their social media channels, or over the telephone.
