Hovertronix Introduces New 8.5” UL Certified Hoverboards w/ Monster Truck Style Wheels With & Auto-Balance

Mar 4, 2017

The long awaited 8.5” wheel hoverboard model has finally hit the Hovertronix online store, all pre-sales have shipped out!

Los Angeles, United States - March 3, 2017 /MarketersMedia/ —

Hovertronix sells the safest hoverboards available on the market today, they are proud to announce the launch of two new models!
The two new models are the Trek-X and the Drift-X. The Trek-X features wheels that bear a striking resemblance to those of wheels of monster trucks. This is so that they will function and be able to be used off-road, in dirt, snow, or even some small rocks. The Drift-X utilizes very similar features and formatting to the Trek-X while the primary difference is slicker tires similar to those used in street racing, these tires are coupled with attractive rims to catch the eye, and the combination makes for a very attractive hoverboard.
A spokesperson for Hovertronix explains, “These hoverboards have been in huge demand from our customers ever since we first announced them a couple months ago. Unlike some other brands we have seen or have similar models we wanted to make sure that they were UL certified before we brought them into the US to sell to our fantastic customers. This took a little longer than we were hoping because UL did not have a certification for 8.5” boards at first but now that everything has cleared we are super excited to finally be able to offer these models.”
The Trek-X is available in a grey based camouflage color scheme while the Drift-X will be available in a sleek glossy red. Both of them will come with Bluetooth that can be used to connect to the Vecaro ride control app (which is available for download on both iTunes and the Google Play store), front LED lights and, rear blinkers to signal which way you are going to turn.
One of the new features that are available on these models is auto-balancing. This means that when you turn on the board with this feature enabled it will balance itself making it easier for you to step on and off of the board. Auto-balancing makes it extremely easy for people of all ages to be able to use these wonderful products. They still recommend that you wear a helmet for your safety but you unless you hit a rock or a bump and lose your balance it makes it almost impossible to fall when just stepping on or off the board.

Smart Green Village breaks ground as Rwanda advances conservation-led tourism

Rwanda marked the 21st edition of Kwita Izina with the ground-breaking of the Smart Green Village, part of the Volcanoes Community Resilience Project and Rwanda’s long-term vision for the restoration and expansion of Volcanoes National Park. The initiative is designed to ensure communities surrounding Rwanda’s national parks benefit directly from conservation and tourism-driven growth. The wider programme includes plans to expand Volcanoes National Park by approximately 3,740 hectares and establish around 6,620 hectares of buffer zones, creating additional habitat for Rwanda’s growing mountain gorilla population. The project is expected to improve livelihoods for more than 17,000 people across approximately 3,400 households while reducing human-wildlife conflict by 80 per cent. Rwanda also celebrated 21 years of Kwita Izina in 2026, with 22 baby mountain gorillas named during the annual conservation ceremony. Read the Rwanda Development Board announcement.
