The principle behind Shoku Iku is that instead of focusing on what a person eats, this strategy focuses more on how a person eats. It’s been discovered that eating certain food combinations together will either cause weight loss or weight gain. Eat the wrong flavor combinations together and the pounds will pile on. However, eat the right flavor combinations and it’s reported that women can loose weight up to 6 times faster than conventional diets.
What’s really interesting is that Japanese women eat twice as many carbs as American women do, yet incredibly they remain one of the slimmest, healthiest, and most disease resistant people on the planet! This means that by following a more Japanese style diet women could not only improve their health but also live longer.
