From there, he went on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2006.
Wanting to further his training, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 2010. This was followed by a clinical fellowship in medical oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2013.
With a passion for his profession, the doctor is board-certified in both internal medicine and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, which is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
