Mar 1, 2023
March 01, 2023 - /PressAdvantage/ - Moreno Valley, CA – J&M Tree Service Moreno Valley is proud to announce the launch of its new urban agriculture and food security service. The company specializes in tree removal, pruning, and care and has developed specialized solutions that use trees to help promote urban agricultural initiatives and ensure food security.
With this innovative service, the company will work with local communities to use trees in agriculture. They will create solutions that include planting different types of trees to grow food and herbs and address climate change, air quality, and water conservation issues.
These measures can also help improve access to fresh produce for people living in urban areas who otherwise may not have access to fresh fruit and vegetables. In addition, J&M Tree Service Moreno Valley will design custom solutions for individual clients who wish to start their urban agriculture projects. This could include helping with logistics such as tree planting, irrigation systems, and soil preparation.
The company will also provide ongoing maintenance services so that these projects are sustainable in the long run. By providing these specialized services, J&M Tree Service Moreno Valley hopes to empower communities by giving them the tools they need to become more self-sufficient through urban agriculture initiatives.

J&M Tree Service Moreno Valley CEO, Richard Gerry, said: "At J&M Tree Service Moreno Valley, we have always had a strong commitment to our local community. We are excited to take this next step and introduce an innovative solution that will help support urban agricultural initiatives and contribute to food security."
Urban agriculture projects can be complicated due to limited space availability and the distinct environment often found in cities. However, trees provide shade, protection from harsh winds, and nutrient-rich soil. With their unique understanding of tree care and maintenance, J&M Tree Service Moreno Valley is well-equipped to provide tailored solutions that deliver maximum benefit and value to urban agriculture projects.
The new service will also involve creating and maintaining tree orchards in public spaces and designing and constructing greenhouses utilizing trees as a foundation. The J&M Tree Service Moreno Valley team has already identified several potential projects in the area and is actively working with local authorities and community groups to develop sustainable solutions.
Gerry commented, "Trees are essential for any urban agriculture project. They provide countless benefits, from creating a natural barrier against wind and dust to producing oxygen, regulating the air temperature, and improving air quality. Our team is committed to helping develop sustainable solutions that make the most of these natural resources."
J&M Tree Service Moreno Valley is one of the region's leading providers of tree removal, pruning, and care services. Founded by Richard Gerry in 2002, the company has grown significantly over the past two decades and now employs more than 30 professionals. Introducing the new urban agriculture and food security service marks a significant milestone for the organization and reflects its commitment to giving back to the local community.
