LeadScorz announced the completion of a $5.6 million Series A funding round. LeadScorz will use the funds to fuel growth and boost hiring.
LeadScorz provides state-of-the-art technology to help marketers optimize the value of the customer leads they purchase and act on. The LeadScorz patent pending Grading Engine™ processes and delivers third-party inbound calls to field sales agents and call centers, and grades consumer-generated form leads in real time, before clients pay for them. Their platform captures lead dispositions in real-time, enabling buyers to optimize spend, and sellers to better match lead quality to their customer's needs.
The company's cloud services integrate with most CRM systems such as Salesforce, Ricochet360, Applied Systems EPIC, and My Medicare Bot. Potential clients are any large marketers whose sales are driven by consumer leads, including insurance carrier and broker networks, household financial services providers, higher education sectors, and other consumer-focused companies.
"Demand is being driven by a decline in tele-sales and a rise in independent and distributed sales agent networks," said Pat Murphy, Founder and CEO of LeadScorz. "This trend is in response to the general weariness of consumers being barraged by outbound calling, and their desire for more localized, more personal customer service at the time of their own choosing."
LeadScorz total funding to-date is $8.15 million. Murphy declined to name Investors in the Series A round but said "A national provider of healthcare insurance products was the lead". Previous backers include several Northwest Angels and Boise, ID-based Capital Eleven.

“We’re in the golden age of Canadian wines,” legendary wine writer Tony Aspler tells me confidently. We are at an intimate showcase of the stuff at the Canadian consulate in Hong Kong’s Quarry Bay neighbourhood, where representatives of nine wineries have gathered to prove that the true north has more than ice wine to offer. As a wine drinker with no particular bias – I will happily quaff a funky Austrian pét-nat (sparkling wine) as much as a fine Burgundy – it was natural for me to enter with...

There is a particular moment in Doha, just before sunset, when the city seems to change pace. Along the Corniche, locals and visitors gather for an evening stroll as traditional wooden dhows drift across the bay. Across the water, the towers of West Bay catch the last of the afternoon light. Nearby, the narrow streets of Souq Waqif begin to fill with families, friends and visitors settling in for the evening.
