Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Giles Travis AKA Coolie Chi is a multifaceted artist with an extraordinary career. He is an American rapper, songwriter, promoter, producer, entrepreneur, graphic designer, media personality, a loving father, and community activist. Coolie Chi figured out his fascination with music at an early age. Hence, he worked towards honing his craft starting in the early years of his life and perfected it with utmost dedication. Hard work, passion, and dedication is helping Collie Chi to consistently pave his way through the music industry.
After dropping a hit album, “Rapper’s Toolkit” consisting of 8 exhilarating songs in 2019, Coolie Chi is all set to drop his latest album for fans worldwide. This latest project is titled “Dinner 4 One” and is scheduled for a release in summer’21.
Telling about his forthcoming project, Coolie Chi says, “Dinner 4 One is about being authentic and who you truly are. (The number 41 in your Angel Number symbolizes just that, being authentic.). The issue with being your true self all the time is that people might not be able to accept the harsh truths, especially when they are not true to themselves.”
This album is about eight friends who embark on the trip to reach their destination, which is a dinner reservation, but on their way, they get annoyed with each and the reservation for 8 ends up in the reservation for 1. The music of this album is as intriguing and unique as the storyline.
“Dinner 4 One” features talented artists like Sasha Go Hard, Nola Ade, Qua Litti, CEO OD, Dope MC Bobby Sills, and Jamal Rashid. “This album has everything that an Urban Music love can dream of”, says Coolie Chi.
Coolie Chi has captured the hearts of many with his music, and the fans cannot wait for the forthcoming release. His music is a modern sound that encapsulates the vibe of Midwest, down south, east coast and west coast hip-hop, R&B, house, and EDM. He creates, produces, and writes the lyrics of the tracks himself, which helps him come up with a sound that is distinctive and never heard before.
Coolie Chi’s musical journey has been full of highs and lows, but he has learned to embrace every situation that life puts him through. He is full of positivity and happiness, and that is what he intends to share through his music with the world.
