Naperville 1-Carat Emerald Cut Diamonds For Bracelets | 2022 Auction Announced

Dec 12, 2022

Leading wholesale diamond auction house Bid Global International Auctioneers has announced its latest series of live and online events, open to buyers in Naperville, Aurora, Oak Lawn, and surrounding parts of the Chicago metropolitan area.

Colorado Springs,United States - December 12, 2022 /PressCable/ —

The upcoming events are accompanied by a new catalog, featuring a wide selection of recently cut new diamonds. All stones have been graded by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and come in a variety of popular styles, including emerald cut, round cut, oval cut, and pear cut.

More details can be found at: https://live.bidglobal.com

Bid Global’s new series of auctions are open to both private and commercial buyers. The firm expects the events to draw significant interest from the custom jewelry market, owing to the competitive pricing that can be achieved. Diamonds now offered suit a variety of purposes, such as bespoke bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and wedding or engagement rings.

Following mining, rough diamonds are sold to a select number of specialized diamond-cutting companies around the world. Newly cut diamonds are then sent for grading prior to making their way into the supply chain. The diamonds found in completed jewelry pieces have often passed through several stages of ownership, adding to the price.

Bid Global maintains exclusive agreements with several leading diamond cutters, and the stones now listed come directly from grading at the GIA. As a result, buyers have an opportunity to purchase diamonds at one of the earliest stages in the supply chain, eliminating many of the additional costs.

Along with the GIA, Bid Global also has diamonds graded by the Accredited Gemological Institute of New York (AGI), in an effort to provide buyers with additional assurance. All stones have a laser-inscribed GIA grading number, as well as accompanying documents from both organizations.

How AI is reshaping microdramas as the vertical video format takes a ‘generational jump’

Paddy Ma Wendi, a director of vertical dramas since 2023, has had a front-row seat to how fast and hard artificial intelligence has affected the mobile-first entertainment genre in 2026. Digital content farms have started churning out short productions – serialised stories made for smartphones and usually watched in portrait mode – using the latest AI technology. “When I was in the US [for a live-action vertical drama], I usually hired about 20 to 30 people, including the actors,” says Ma, who...

What Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige reveals about his cinematic obsession 20 years on

Before The Dark Knight made him a household name in 2008, Christopher Nolan crafted intricate thrillers such as Following (1998), Memento (2000) and Insomnia (2002). But 2006’s The Prestige, which turns 20 this month, is the most labyrinthine by far. Made just after Batman Begins (2005), but a far stranger and more personal proposition, it is set in 1890s London. Here, we are introduced to stage magicians Robert Angier (Hugh Jackman) and Alfred Borden (Christian Bale), who risk their lives, and...
