He followed this release with “This Ain’t This” and “Marni” earlier in 2022, but it wasn’t before his first EP was released that RockBlockBam became a household name in the rap records of America.
Barry Battle has dedicated “Aunie’s Baby” EP to his late aunt, who tragically passed away last year. Facing an avalanche of grief, Barry channeled the pain into music and released a heartfelt masterpiece.
Shortly after releasing “Aunie’s Baby”, RockBlockBam’s EP went viral on TikTok. It amassed over 100,000 streams in less than ten days and the numbers are still piling up.
Barry titled his debut album “Aunie’s Baby Vol 1.”, hinting that he will expand upon the album with a future release that is likely to hit a similar vein stylistically and lyrically.
Barry Battle proved to the world that his love for his late aunt and devotion to his music could exist on the same plane through “Aunie’s Baby”. He reached thousands of fans from all walks of life with each track featured on the record and continues to create new music to cater to the needs of his now-massive fan base.
RockBlockBam found solace in manifestation practices after his aunt passed, posting deeply emotional videos on his TikTok profile, many of which are trending with tens of thousands of reactions.
