Recent research reveals that the costs of prescription drugs have risen by 2.5% since the start of the global pandemic. When compared to prices in 2014, the overall costs have increased by a total of 35%, while the costs for other products and services have only risen by 19%. Statistics show that due to low wages, approximately one-third of Americans aren’t purchasing the prescription drugs they need.
On the company’s website, users will be able to browse for their desired medication, compare the prices across a range of pharmacies near them, and get coupons to help make their medication more affordable. These coupons can then be printed, sent via email address, or sent by text message.
The user will simply need to bring a physical or digital copy of their coupon and show their pharmacist. The new price will then be applied automatically.
