Sep 15, 2021

Yorkshire Fire, an outdoor BBQ and fire specialist retailer based in Wetherby, West Yorkshire, is now retailing a collection of RB73 designer outdoor log burning fire pits.

The new collection offers a fusion of aesthetics and practicality, with all the outdoor wood ovens hewn from quality merbau hardwood and complemented by tempered glass and industrial-styled steel accents.

More details can be found at https://shop.yorkshirefire.com/rb73

The launch coincides with the end of the summer season in the United Kingdom, where grey skies and cooler nights begin to return.

However, Yorkshire Fire believes that with one of their quality RB73 fire pits, there is no need to rush back inside just yet.

All the log burners in the range have been designed to make a visual statement in any garden or property, their striking glass panels affording owners a 360-degree view of the burning fire.

One of the most popular new models is the Quaruba XL Mobile, which is available in a wheeled version for added convenience. The burner stands at 95cm tall and features an artfully rusted-look CorTen steel vent which stands at a further 2m tall.

More information on the model’s specifications is available at https://shop.yorkshirefire.com/rb73/19-rb73-quaruba-xl-mobile

The Quaruba XL Mobile, like Yorkshire Fire’s other designs, has been developed to create an encompassing and powerful warmth while minimizing smoke and preventing flying debris.

Like their other new models in the RB73 range, the Quaruba comes in three sizes, L, XL and XXL, to suit the scope and scale of any courtyard, backyard or more expansive property.

Many of the models can also be customised by purchasers, with a choice of wheels, standing legs, glass panel placement, and more.

All the fire pits in the collection are covered by a two-year warranty and can be delivered at no charge throughout the UK.

Yorkshire Fire is an established retailer of premium brands in outdoor log burners, BBQs and ceramic grills and smokers, including from iconic names like Kamado Joe.

A spokesperson for the company said, “Bring boldness and warmth to your outdoor living with an RB73 outdoor log burner. You’ll love spending long, delightful nights outside under the stars with a view of one of our sturdy, robust and eye-catching designs.”

How AI is reshaping microdramas as the vertical video format takes a ‘generational jump’

Paddy Ma Wendi, a director of vertical dramas since 2023, has had a front-row seat to how fast and hard artificial intelligence has affected the mobile-first entertainment genre in 2026. Digital content farms have started churning out short productions – serialised stories made for smartphones and usually watched in portrait mode – using the latest AI technology. “When I was in the US [for a live-action vertical drama], I usually hired about 20 to 30 people, including the actors,” says Ma, who...

What Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige reveals about his cinematic obsession 20 years on

Before The Dark Knight made him a household name in 2008, Christopher Nolan crafted intricate thrillers such as Following (1998), Memento (2000) and Insomnia (2002). But 2006’s The Prestige, which turns 20 this month, is the most labyrinthine by far. Made just after Batman Begins (2005), but a far stranger and more personal proposition, it is set in 1890s London. Here, we are introduced to stage magicians Robert Angier (Hugh Jackman) and Alfred Borden (Christian Bale), who risk their lives, and...
