The latest announcement is in line with Small Giants’ goal of creating better family environments and promotes guidance on how to develop healthy balanced relationships between parents and adolescents. The new book provides information on effective tips and ideas on how to better communicate with teenagers, helping them to develop a positive growth mindset.
The new book provides information on how to meet a teenage child’s emotional needs by helping parents recognize the ‘five keys’ that can trigger a positive or negative response from a teenager. The techniques aim to help a child feel heard and acknowledged, engage in conversation, and independently think of their own solutions to problems. Helping teenage children develop their analytical skills promotes their self-esteem and confidence and can set them on a positive path to adulthood.
The new book aims to tackle common problems faced by parents of teenagers and provides information on how to use a positive approach to help them. It discusses common issues such as a child suffering from anxiety or becoming withdrawn or shy, blowouts or uncontrollable emotions, and the pressures faced by teens in modern-day society, such as the effects of social media.
The book focuses on building communication skills using the F.A.C.E.S system to help overcome these areas of concern and helps parents or guardians recognize the common denominator that is negatively impacting their relationships.
