Viet Nam Vets Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club in partnership with Destination Harley Davidson announced today they donated over $4300.00 at the 34th Annual Mary Bridge Children's Hospital Toy Run.

Viet Nam Vets Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club in partnership with Destination Harley Davidson announced today they donated over $4300.00 on Saturday during the 34th Annual Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Toy Run to the Mary Bridge Children’s Foundation. The Toy Run focuses on bringing the motorcycle community together to raise funds and create community awareness for the Mary Bridge Children’s Foundation. The money raised goes to assist the hospital in achieving its mission of providing care for all children, regardless of their ability to pay, more than half of which are low income. Over the years, the partnership has contributed over $100,000.00 to the Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital.
Viet Nam Vets Legacy Vets MC Chapter President, Tubes says they’ve always admired the Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and the work they do to provide care for the children they serve regardless of their ability to pay. He said they’re thrilled to be able to give to an organization that has given so much and has done so much good for the children over the years.
He said this year was a record year for the Toy Run, both in attendance and raising money for the Foundation, and the partnership with Destination Harley Davidson is critical for the Run’s success year after year. Without Destination’s support and that of the Washington State Council of Clubs, the Washington State Council of Veteran Clubs, and the local motorcycle community, we wouldn’t be able to deliver as we have over the years and continue to grow the Toy Run.
Destination Harley Davidson Owner, Ed Wallace Jr., said he is honored to partner with groups like the Viet Nam Vets Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club to sponsor events like this because it supports Destinations Harley Davidson’s investment in the local community and to also gets the motorcycle community out on the road.
He said when you’re able to bring such a diverse community together with a common goal and get them riding their Harley’s, especially this time of year, it’s important and helps to show the motorcycle community has big hearts and are invested in the community.

Viet Nam Vets Legacy Vets MC Tacoma Chapter was founded in 1985. The Viet Nam Vets Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club is an international motorcycle club made up of two compatible groups of former and current military men. The club consists of both Vietnam Era Vets and Veterans who served after that time. The Legacy Vets MC brothers wear a similar but different patch. They are equal to the Viet Nam Vets MC brothers in every way and will carry on the legacy of their club far into the future. The brothers share more than just common military experiences. They also share a strict set of codes, ethics, and values. The club is not a criminal organization, nor do they have any intention of becoming one. They have not, nor do they intend to get involved with the private business of other motorcycle clubs or their problems. They respect all motorcycle clubs who share our common code and principles, along with the freedom of the wind and the road.
