The team explains that the federal government has reinstated the federal 25C tax credit program. This makes it retroactively effective from January 1, 2018, through to December 31, 2020.
Section 25C Tax Credit for Qualified Energy Efficiency Improvements offers a 10% tax credit worth up to $500 for homeowners for qualified energy-efficiency upgrades, like building insulation.
Most homeowners are unaware that 90% of homes across the country are under insulated. Now, with the tax credit extension, homeowners can save up to $500 on their taxes when they add insulation to their home.
By insulating the property, homeowners can earn $500 in tax credits, lower their energy bills, and make their home more comfortable.
Tax credits are available for up to 10% of the cost, to a maximum of $500. Typical bulk insulation products can qualify, such as batts, rolls, blow-in fibers, rigid boards, expanding spray, and pour-in-place.
Products that air seal are also able to qualify. These can include weather stripping, spray foam, and house wrap.
There are a number of benefits when it comes to home insulation. Insulating the home will make the property more comfortable throughout the year.
It can also help to reduce energy bills, while having a more positive impact on the environment. This is because the homeowner will be using less energy to heat the home, and it will be more energy efficient.
Adding insulation to the home is a great way of increasing comfort throughout the year. Now it’s a great way of enjoying tax savings too.
Pacific Insulation prices its products lower than the big box stores. Whether customers need to insulate walls, their attic or floors, they can rely on Pacific Insulation to help.
